Hi everyone! Welcome to my website. My name is Minghui and I am a full-time piano teacher.I started learning piano when I was eleven years old, which was considered late for a beginner. After hearing records of a professional lounge pianist, I was inspired then to take up the instrument seriously.

Being a late beginner didn't stop me from pursuing my passions; I then went on to achieve a distinction in grade 5 and a merit in grade 8 piano. I continued to pursue my music diploma from Trinity College London while studying for my degree in business management at the same time, and also joined a string ensemble and participated in school music performances to achieve a well rounded musical experience. I am extremely grateful to my previous teachers, Mr. W. Law (NAFA) and Mr A. Bialak (LASALLE-SIA) for their patient guidance during this time and for sharing their experiences with me.

Upon graduation from university, I decided to continue to pursue my passion in teaching music - something that I started doing part-time since varsity and had enjoyed very much. Many had called me a fool to waste my business degree, but I feel that the sense of satisfaction gained from teaching my students, seeing them progress from absolute beginners to proficient pianists, cannot be replaced by monetary gains from a corporate job.

If you like music as much as I do, feel free to contact me and see how I can help you to pursue your passions.

Oh yah, even if you're not looking for a music teacher, do feel free to navigate around my site. I hope that the articles posted, music files available and the music related links in my website would be useful to you.
